November Wind

Blustering, boisterous wind of November,
Sweeping the last of the Autumn leaves
Down to the waiting ground,
Heaps of then bustling and whisperingly rustling,
Cracking and crunching ‘neath hurrying feet.
On goes the wind, swirling and whirling,
Hair-raising, ear-chilling, nose-reddening
North-wester, gusting away Autumn
And ushering in Winter with a shriek and a roar.
