Taut Blueness

The shouting TV is too loud,

Drowning all words,

All thoughts.

Sitting with the crowd-

ing reflections heard

Through fraught

Mind. the taut spirit

Cannot think,

Cannot

respond, is blue and wearied

And ready to sink

To a dot.
