A September sky

This rippling sky was so fleetingly lovely I had to rush out and photograph it.

This geranium is magnificent. It is so large and lovely I can't resist blogging it.

What a lovely year this has been for flowers. I know that a lot of the weather has been wretched and unpredictable but flowers have flourished. Our roses have never been better. When we spent a few days in Scotland in the Spring the gorse was a mass of blazing yellow. Now it is coming up to Autumn and the sun is shining at the moment. It is warm enough to sit in the garden and I shall shortly go downstairs and put the kettle on.
